Since the Open Graves, Open Minds Project was founded in 2010 with our first conference, Open Graves, Open Minds: Vampires and the Undead in Modern Culture, we have had a range of edited collections and special journal issues (all edited by Sam George and Bill Hughes).
Our edited collections have all been with Manchester University Press, who have been extremely supportive from our first volume, ‘Open Graves, Open Minds’: Representations of the Undead from the Enlightenment to the Present (2013) to our forthcoming book Gothic Encounters with Enchantment and the Fairy Realm (2026). They have now set up a special web page for the OGOM Project here.
